About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and directional support in Asset Information Management (IM) from the Technology Center.
  • Oversee the delivery of IM services through standardized, scalable document and data management processes, including documentation control and engineering drawing updates.
  • Support IM Service Provider resourcing, including planning, deployment, training, and performance monitoring.
  • Develop new processes and drive continuous improvement through KPI monitoring.
  • Mentor junior engineers in Information Management best practices.
  • Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements and propose system enhancements.
  • Collaborate with Project IM personnel to ensure alignment for handover and brownfield project activities.
  • Conduct IM surveillance and assessments, including Management System compliance, audits, and reviews.
  • Maintain governance and change management for processes, standards, and tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation) with a CGPA of 7.0 or above.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil and Gas Production/Operations or a similar industry.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Information Management domain working with EDMS tools (e.g., Aconex, OpenText, Documentum).
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Operations/Maintenance and understanding of industry processes (MOCs, HAZOP, PSSR, etc.).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Field Maintenance.
  • Thorough technical knowledge of engineering and equipment drawings and documents.
  • Knowledge of leading engineering design tools (e.g., Hexagon, Aveva, Autodesk).
  • Ability to relocate to Bengaluru and work morning or evening shifts.
  • Willingness to take extended international business trips as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in EDMS tools such as Aconex, OpenText, or Vault.
  • Strong knowledge of 2D and 3D engineering tools.
  • Knowledge of SAP/CMMS.
  • Knowledge of Asset Digital twins, 3D modeling concepts, and data system integrations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and SharePoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
