Maintenance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform technical work on machines, plants, and systems to ensure safe and reliable availability
• Plan, coordinate, and implement projects in collaboration with external partners and departments
• Create, control, document, and track inspections, maintenance plans, and repair measures using SAP
• Identify and implement measures to continuously optimize plant availability, efficiency, and safety
• Support SHEQ and technical management with safety-related topics including risk assessments and work instructions

Requirements

• Completed engineering degree or comparable qualification/experience
• Fluent German and very good English skills
• Strong technical knowledge in plant safety, maintenance, and relevant regulations (e.g., BetrSichV, DGUV)
• Proficiency in SAP for asset management and maintenance planning
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Several years of experience in plant safety, maintenance, or HSE
