About the role
Responsibilities
- Improve equipment reliability and develop maintenance programs for industrial equipment
- Analyze equipment failures and trends using CMMS, Office 365, and Power BI
- Set strategies for large-scale repairs or equipment replacement, including capital investment and project management
- Manage equipment documentation and update technical drawings for modifications
- Specify recommended spare parts and coordinate with Central Stores to manage inventory and obsolescence
- Lead and execute improvement projects to eliminate root causes of downtime
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for equipment breakdowns, including potential on-site or after-hours support
- Prepare technical specifications for the procurement of new equipment or repairs
- Design improvements to reduce equipment weak points and ensure plant standards compliance
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
- OR an Associate Electrical Engineering degree with significant industrial maintenance experience (including automation, robotics, and controls)
- At least one year of engineering experience related to equipment design or upkeep
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and CAD software
- Working knowledge of CMMS and ERP systems
- Proficient English communication skills (written and verbal)
