Maintenance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support the lifecycle management of all equipment and electrical assets at the Lummen plant to ensure reliable and efficient operations.
• Plan, prioritize, and follow up on preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues using root cause analysis tools.
• Maximize production output and minimize downtime by implementing proactive improvement strategies.
• Manage external contractors, evaluate their work, and negotiate with suppliers.
• Coach and develop maintenance technicians to build a high-performing technical team.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Manage maintenance costs and spare parts inventory effectively.

Requirements

• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience in an electrical, mechanical, or maintenance role.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and supporting equipment.
• Proficiency in mechanical systems and transport systems.
• Practical knowledge of automation and controls.
• Proven ability to perform root cause analysis to solve complex technical problems.
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance planning and work order systems.
