About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the maintenance team to meet servicing requirements
  • Deliver start-of-shift and end-of-shift briefings to ensure operational alignment
  • Ensure strict compliance with EHS policies to foster a safe working environment
  • Monitor team performance and provide real-time updates to the Maintenance Manager
  • Oversee planned maintenance and modernization activities in a rail depot environment
  • Support continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives
  • Develop team skills and identify training needs to enhance overall performance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (BE or B.Tech)
  • 6-8 years of experience in rolling stock maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of rail depot operations and industry regulations
  • Proven experience in team leadership and motivation
  • Proficiency in SAP systems and MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under stringent timelines
  • Fluency in both English and Hindi
