Maintenance EMG Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance teams to ensure the smooth and safe operation of manufacturing processes.
• Provide hands-on technical support on the production floor (expected to be 70% or more).
• Troubleshoot and minimize the impact of equipment failures to maintain reliability and availability.
• Act as a shift leader, coordinating schedules, assigning responsibilities, and ensuring work safety.
• Implement preventive and corrective maintenance actions and update risk analyses.
• Manage performance for direct reports, including annual reviews and coaching.
• Maintain the maintenance information system and technical documentation.
• Ensure strict application of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards and procedures.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, trades work, or as a hands-on engineering technician.
• 5+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Post-secondary education in Electrical Trade (442a preferred), Millwright (433a preferred), or a relevant technician diploma/certification.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics.
• Familiarity with manufacturing environment safety procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with PLC, VFD, sensors, and High Frequency heating equipment.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, and motors.
• Proficiency with SAP.
