Maintenance Electrician

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installation, wiring, and maintenance on existing plant and machinery
• Manage breakdowns and repairs within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Maintain facilities, panels, and control systems
• Support the development of new plant and machinery as part of a multi-skilled team
• Participate in an out-of-hours breakdown rota

Requirements

• City and Guilds or similar qualification in Electrical Maintenance (Apprenticeship)
• City & Guilds 18th Edition qualification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar maintenance role
• Proven experience with machine and plant maintenance and breakdowns
• Knowledge of PLC controls and programming
• Knowledge of PID temperature controls
• GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
• Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Computer literacy
• Strong understanding of general engineering principles
• Experience working specifically within a manufacturing environment
