Maintenance Electrician

Responsibilities

• Execute preventative and predictive maintenance programs to ensure reliable plant performance
• Diagnose faults, perform repairs, and respond quickly to breakdowns
• Use CMMS (MEX) to manage maintenance schedules and track work orders
• Monitor and maintain critical site services and coordinate with external contractors
• Oversee building and infrastructure maintenance including electrical systems
• Champion high standards of housekeeping, food safety, and 6S initiatives
• Support automation, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement projects
• Carry out basic mechanical maintenance including replacing components, belts, and bearings
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards

Requirements

• Trade-qualified Industrial Electrician
• Current EWRB Practising License
• Practical mechanical aptitude for component replacement
• Proven experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment
• Experience using CMMS (MEX preferred)
• Strong fault-finding skills across electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Familiarity with Office 365
