About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical, electronic, and electromechanical maintenance on tooling equipment, specifically Okuma and SNK machining centers.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in machines controlled by CNC and/or PLC using measurement instruments like multimeters and megohmmeters.
  • Execute maintenance on large mechanical presses, focusing on command and power circuits, safety systems, and sensors.
  • Maintain auxiliary equipment including overhead cranes, grinders, and laser cutting machines.
  • Interpret electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic diagrams and schematics.
  • Conduct technical inspections, failure cause analysis, and functional tests to ensure equipment reliability and safety.
  • Support improvements and solutions in automation, electronics, and mechatronics.
  • Strictly comply with safety procedures, lockout/tagout protocols, and internal industrial maintenance standards.

Requirements

  • Technical degree in electricity, electroelectronics, mechatronics, or equivalent.
  • Full availability to work different shifts as required.
  • Ability to work 100% onsite at the GM plant in São Caetano do Sul.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Intermediate English proficiency.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in fault diagnosis for CNC, PLC, and industrial automation systems.
  • Experience with large-scale presses and high-criticality industrial equipment.
  • Strong skills in reading and interpreting complex technical schematics.
