Maintenance Electrician

Responsibilities

• Install, test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and control devices throughout the plant
• Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment and components to ensure safe and efficient operation
• Troubleshoot HMS transfer systems and stamping/assembly presses
• Create, write, and input basic PLC programs
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and PLC ladder programs
• Resolve issues with proximity switches, photo eyes, sensors, lasers, and servos
• Install control and distribution devices such as switches, relays, and distribution panels
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, and install electrical conduit

Requirements

• Red Seal Licensed Electrician
• 1-3 years of experience in Industrial Maintenance
• Strong knowledge of PLC and ladder logic
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, working sketches, and operating manuals
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and effectively under pressure in a busy environment

• Experience with robotics
