Maintenance Electrical Technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance to maintain equipment efficiency
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on production lines, including conveyors and packaging equipment
• Disassemble and assemble equipment for new installations and repairs
• Service motors, conveying systems, transmission systems, and production-related equipment
• Wire 120 to 240-volt single phase and 480-volt three phase circuitry
• Troubleshoot photo eyes, sensors, and pressure switches
• Use human machine interfaces (HMI) to ensure equipment is operating on center lines
• Maintain and lubricate machinery, including changing drive belts, timing belts, bearings, and seals
• Support continuous production by assisting operators with mechanical and electrical needs

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of industrial maintenance experience
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Ability to read and comprehend schematics and instruction sheets
• Ability to lift 75 pounds and move it a distance of 25 feet or more
• Ability to work a 1st shift schedule (Monday-Thursday, 6:30am-5pm)
• Must be able to pass a written test

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-year mechanical and electrical degree
• Experience with Computer Maintenance Management Systems (SAP preferred)
• Experience in an industrial food manufacturing environment
• Training in forklift and pallet jack operation
