Maintenance Electrical & Instrumentation Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day electrical and instrumentation (E/I) operations for a large corn plant.
• Ensure safety and compliance with all state and federal regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and FDA.
• Create and lead effective training programs for new and existing E/I technicians.
• Identify and prioritize instrumentation and electrical improvement projects.
• Manage costs and focus on efficiency improvements using an owner's mindset.
• Oversee high-voltage electrical contractors and establish schedules for inspections and repairs.
• Create and audit electrical PM programs for transformers, mains, and MCC buckets.
• Provide mentorship, accountability, and support for team development and growth.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in a maintenance supervisory or leadership role.
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a continuous process environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM) and Food Safety Standards.
• Excellent leadership ability with a focus on strategic direction and delegation.
• Proven ability to prioritize workload and make professional decisions in a 24/7 operation.
• Strong written and verbal interpersonal communication skills.
