Maintenance Director

Responsibilities

• Set overall maintenance department goals, processes, and procedures to accomplish company objectives
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory standards
• Create and manage a preventive maintenance system to ensure smooth daily operations
• Manage facility maintenance programs including assessments, repairs, and minor construction
• Oversee extensive facility renovations, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
• Develop and implement company policies regarding OSHA and general safety requirements
• Establish operational safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance
• Maintain records for fire safety, emergency preparedness, and evacuation protocols
• Perform skilled maintenance and repair tasks across various building trades

Requirements

• Experience in property management and preventive maintenance programs
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and janitorial/housekeeping procedures
• Experience in financial operations and personnel supervision
• Ability to present information effectively to management, vendors, and associates
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and quick turnaround times
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong attention to detail
