About the role
Responsibilities
- Promote and enforce safety standards in accordance with CEMEX, OSHA, and MSHA regulations
- Assign daily tasks to team members to meet maintenance objectives
- Motivate and guide the maintenance team while resolving issues
- Establish performance goals and oversee work quality
- Supervise maintenance plan implementation and monitor equipment conditions
- Report maintenance activities and document hazards
- Assist the maintenance planner and provide emergency support
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5 years of experience in heavy industrial or heavy manufacturing
- Ability to work varying shifts including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to perform physically intense tasks including heavy lifting up to 100 lbs
