Maintenance Control Director

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain documentation for all MQ-9 scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
• Coordinate with Government representatives, including the COR and Maintenance Officer, regarding contract requirements
• Plan and coordinate all aircraft and GCS inspections, including special, conditional, and phase inspections
• Dispatch and monitor assigned tasks and associated jobs to various work centers
• Work closely with operations to ensure aircraft and GCS availability to meet the flight schedule
• Utilize approved DoD Maintenance Systems such as IMDS and/or OOMA/NALCOMIS
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports regarding long-range maintenance requirements
• Maintain aircraft/GCS discrepancy books and historical records
• Verify all maintenance action documentation prior to submission to the Navy
• Instruct and assist in the training of lower-level employees in proper work methods

Requirements

• Active Secret US Government clearance (eligibility for Top Secret required)
• Working knowledge of MQ-9 aircraft
• Associate degree in engineering, business, logistics, management, math, sciences, or professional aeronautics, plus 6 years of US military requirement execution
• 15 years of aircraft maintenance experience, including 10 years in a supervisory position
• Minimum of 6 years in a maintenance control position
• Experience supervising daily flight operations personnel supporting maintenance
• Familiarity with Navy, Air Force, or Marine Corps logistics support procedures
• Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Top Secret US Government clearance
• Experience as an MQ-9 Aircraft Mechanic or Avionics Technician
