Maintenance CI Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement efforts focused on maintenance effectiveness, downtime reduction, and PM optimization.
• Use plant data and maintenance system information to identify losses and prioritize performance improvement plans.
• Act as a subject matter expert for Maximo/CMMS processes and Cognos reporting.
• Support plant-wide troubleshooting by connecting equipment issues and historical data into practical corrective actions.
• Develop and reinforce maintenance expectations, work instructions, and process compliance across shifts.
• Partner with operations, quality, and engineering leadership to resolve chronic issues and improve plant performance.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies, including AI-enabled workflows, to improve reporting and automation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing maintenance, reliability, or continuous improvement.
• Advanced knowledge of Maximo or similar CMMS platforms and maintenance planning/control.
• Experience with AI implementation and integration to support maintenance or troubleshooting workflows.
• Proficiency in Cognos reporting, Power BI, and SQL coding to build automated decision-support tools.
• Strong ability to analyze data and translate findings into actionable improvements for uptime and flow.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence both leadership and shop-floor teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in die cast, high-volume manufacturing, or other equipment-intensive operations.
• Experience with downtime/OEE analysis, layered audits, and standardized work.
• Familiarity with digital tools supporting simulation, automation, or AI-enabled workflows.
