Maintenance & Automation Technician Internship

Responsibilities

• Assist maintenance technicians with troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment, including robotics, conveyors, and material handling systems
• Support basic electrical troubleshooting under supervision, including low-voltage controls
• Gain hands-on experience with Allen Bradley PLC-controlled equipment, motor controls, VFDs, and servo-driven systems
• Work alongside the Automation & Controls Engineer to assist with automation improvements and system upgrades
• Participate in preventative maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability
• Help document maintenance activities and corrective actions using the CMMS system
• Adhere to all safety, EHS, and OSHA requirements

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program (Engineering, Automation, Industrial Maintenance, Electrical, or Mechatronics preferred)
• Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder
• Strong interest in industrial maintenance, automation, and controls engineering
• Basic understanding of electrical and/or mechanical systems
• Ability to safely work in an industrial environment and follow established procedures
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
