Maintenance Automation Maintenance

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and program automated equipment including PLC logic, robotics, and electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Recommend changes in circuitry, programs, and sensors to improve process safety and efficiency
• Conduct functional and operational tests to evaluate the performance of mechanical and electronic devices
• Adjust, calibrate, and align components in automated equipment
• Install and remove primary components and make necessary electrical and mechanical hookups
• Write technical reports and develop diagrams or schematics to illustrate operating characteristics
• Coordinate with other skilled trades to ensure safe installation and operation

Requirements

• Journeyman Electrician certification
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and program PLC logic
• Experience with robotics preventative maintenance and troubleshooting
• Proficiency in electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical automation
• Familiarity with electrical codes and safety regulations
• Ability to work mandatory overtime, including 6-7 days per week as required
• Physical ability to lift, bend, climb, and work in confined surroundings and environments with welding fumes
