Maintenance Assistant

Responsibilities

• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment to ensure operational efficiency
• Perform equipment cleaning manually or using high-pressure water jets
• Conduct lubrication activities and small mechanical repairs
• Perform cold vulcanization on conveyor belts
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and use measurement instruments
• Operate mobile equipment such as aerial platforms, cranes, and maintenance hoists
• Support the assembly and installation of both small and large-scale mechanical equipment
• Manage maintenance orders within the SAP system, including creating and closing orders
• Adhere to all safety, environmental, occupational health, and compliance standards
• Contribute to 5S methodology practices (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)

Requirements

• High school diploma completed
• Completed vocational course in Mechanics and/or Electrical
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
• Experience using measurement instruments
• Availability to work onsite in Santa Cruz, Rio de Janeiro (Monday to Friday)
