Maintenance Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining property standards and ensuring the upkeep of all facilities with high attention to detail
• Carry out regular maintenance inspections of the building, plant, and equipment according to daily checklists
• Perform daily, general, and emergency repairs to ensure a safe environment for all guests and staff
• Assist with preventative maintenance of fire protection systems to ensure all safety features operate at peak efficiency

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of experience in a maintenance or engineering department within a branded hotel
• Hands-on experience in electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry tasks
• Fluency in English
• High School Diploma preferred

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
• Proven initiative and commitment to achieving high service standards
