Maintenance Assistant

Responsibilities

• Help with the general upkeep of the physical plant, property, and grounds
• Ensure patient and visitor safety, comfort, and satisfaction
• Follow all regulations and company policies regarding safety and infection control
• Complete tasks from a provided task list
• Communicate professionally with other departments, patients, families, and staff

Requirements

• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and heating systems
• General maintenance ability
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Willingness to learn and follow safety standards
• Ability to pass a physical examination for employment
• Successful completion of pre-employment screening and orientation
