Maintenance Assistant (Maintenance Foreman)

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth execution of field maintenance activities by coordinating intervention teams
• Supervise maintenance works and traffic arrangements of subcontractors in the field
• Check measurements, contractor certifications, and schedule weekly or emergency maintenance tasks
• Oversee scheduling and log work reports in maintenance software
• Perform necessary infrastructure inspections on the highway
• Direct response actions and interventions in emergency situations
• Supervise storage areas for maintenance equipment and materials
• Participate in contractor tender research and drafting of agreements and certifications
• Coordinate and monitor winter maintenance and response to extreme weather events
• Plan and monitor the smooth execution of staff work schedules

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering (TEI) or a related specialty
• At least 1 year of professional experience in Public Works or road network construction projects in a supervisory role
• Experience in field team coordination and subcontractor oversight
• Good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
• Very good knowledge of MS Office
• Knowledge of AutoCAD
