Maintenance Apprentice

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders and perform preventative maintenance
• Execute the "make-ready" process for vacant apartment homes
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities through cleaning and debris removal
• Support cost-cutting by repairing parts and managing inventory
• Conduct routine property inspections to identify safety and risk concerns
• Adhere to all safety protocols, OSHA requirements, and Fair Housing laws

Requirements

• 2+ years of grounds or porter experience
• Ability to operate maintenance equipment like pressure washers and leaf blowers
• Knowledge of minor maintenance and repairs
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and lifting
