Maintenance and Field Support Manager

Responsibilities

• Create and update the Mill Commercial Owner’s Manual covering installation, startup, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Align cross-functionally with Engineering and Support to incorporate learnings from Pilot customers and internal testing
• Act as technical escalation point for Mill Field Support, triaging issues and recommending warranty or repair actions
• Manage technical feedback from Field Trials
• Develop training documentation and materials for new users and third-party maintenance partners
• Identify, select, and negotiate maintenance contracts with nationwide third-party contractors
• Develop metrics and own continuous improvement for maintenance contractor performance
• Track and prioritize improvements to the maintenance customer experience via design, manufacturing, and software

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing Operations or Field Support, specifically with large hardware products requiring hands-on maintenance
• Experience managing vendor relationships with service providers
• Program management experience with hardware products
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally
