Maintenance and Breakdown Claims Handler

Responsibilities

• Receive and handle calls following quality standards to minimize abandoned or lost calls
• Inform and advise clients, interlocutors, or workshops
• Process vehicle breakdown and maintenance claim files
• Review and request necessary documentation related to each file
• Use computer applications for intervention and tracking
• Verify budgets and authorize commitments to providers
• Perform continuous follow-up on active files

Requirements

• Student or recent graduate in Automotive FP, similar technical degree, or expert adjusting services
• At least 1 year of experience as an automotive maintenance/breakdown claims handler or workshop advisor (including internships)
• Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office environments
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
• Ability to perform active listening and effective information transmission
• Strong analytical skills, initiative, and administrative management capabilities
• Highly proactive and problem-solving mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Gtmotive or Audatex valuation systems
