Maintainability and Railway Maintenance Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

• Produce, analyze, and exploit 3D models of rolling stock and maintenance infrastructure using Blender and 3D Jummp
• Conduct compatibility studies between rolling stock and maintenance environments
• Participate in maintainability reviews to ensure maintenance operations are feasible
• Define necessary support elements required for maintenance activities
• Collect and analyze data regarding maintenance infrastructure
• Develop simplified models to facilitate complex compatibility studies

Requirements

• Engineering degree in mechanical design or an equivalent field
• Proficiency in 3D Blender
• Knowledge of 3D Jummp software
• Previous experience in railway maintenance
• Strong skills in blueprint reading, tolerances, and mechanical/geometric interfaces
• Fluency in English (written and oral)
• Ability to work effectively in complex, multicultural team environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of development processes related to vehicle maintenance or vehicle development phases
• Ability to bridge the gap between digital models and operational reality through field experience
