Mainframe/COBOL V6 Developer

Responsibilities

• Participate in scoping and integration specifications
• Perform Mainframe developments for new application integration
• Conduct technical analysis, unit testing, and bug fixes
• Contribute to application integration within the existing ecosystem
• Participate in testing, validation, and production deployment phases
• Provide occasional application run support, including incident analysis and corrective maintenance
• Engage in project rituals and technical/functional team exchanges

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in Mainframe / COBOL V6 development
• Mastery of IBM Mainframe environments
• Experience with critical applications in banking, insurance, or large accounts
• Proficiency in technical analysis, development, testing, and production deployment
• Technical stack: COBOL V6, PACBASE, TSO, MVS, CICS, DB2, START
• Ability to work in Agile project environments
