Mainframe Cobol Developer - CSF

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain statement generation solutions using Custom Statement Formatter (CSF).
• Customize and format financial documents including account statements, billing statements, and customer notices.
• Manipulate and validate financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with formatting standards.
• Utilize mainframe technologies such as COBOL, JCL, and DB2 to support statement processing workflows.
• Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to define formatting and communication requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to statement formatting, data integration, and processing.
• Support system integrations, migrations, and enhancements for customer communication platforms.
• Maintain detailed documentation regarding statement formats, configurations, and development activities.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in a similar mainframe development role.
• Strong, hands-on experience with Custom Statement Formatter (CSF).
• Expertise in mainframe technologies, specifically COBOL, JCL, and DB2.
• Deep understanding of financial data structures and banking terminology.
• Proven experience in data manipulation and formatting of structured financial information.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of financial statements and customer communications.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to statement processing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Customer Communication Management (CCM) tools.
• Background in system integration and large-scale migration initiatives.
• Experience in technical documentation and solution design.
• Previous exposure to banking or financial services platforms.
