Mainframe Back End Developer

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, develop, and maintain Cobol programs for banking products (DAV, Overdrafts, Interests, Safes, etc.)
• Use various tools and frameworks to develop prototypes and transform them into web applications
• Write high-quality, maintainable code for durable web applications
• Maintain workflows with client teams to ensure continuous support
• Perform quality assurance testing and supervise test schedules
• Evaluate website performance and scalability, adjusting code as necessary
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues, communicating with stakeholders and QA teams

Requirements

• Higher education degree in Computer Science
• Several years of confirmed experience as a Mainframe Back End Developer
• Proficiency in COBOL, MicroFocus EnterpriseDeveloper, TSO, MVS, CICS, START, GIT, JENKINS, DB2, and JCL/EGEN
• Experience with SCRUM and Agile methodologies
• Ability to work in Montpellier (Hérault)
