About the role
Responsibilities
- Receive, sort, and deliver incoming mail and courier packages to departments and individuals
- Prepare outgoing mail via USPS, FedEx, UPS, and overnight shipments
- Log and track incoming packages, accountable mail, checks, and confidential documents
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked mailroom
- Operate mailroom equipment including postage meters, label printers, carts, and dollies
- Coordinate with Trade Compliance to ensure hazardous material shipments comply with regulations
- Provide professional customer service to employees regarding mail inquiries and delivery needs
- Support periodic parking audits and other facilities operations as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Basic computer skills, including email, scanning, and tracking systems
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs in accordance with safety guidelines
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and reliability
- Ability to stand and walk for most of the workday and perform repetitive tasks
