Mailroom Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Provide direct oversight of the Mail Center team, including scheduling, task delegation, and performance evaluations.
• Manage shipping and receiving operations, including screening, sorting, metering, and delivery of mail and parcels.
• Maintain accurate records of inbound and outbound package volumes, messenger receipts, and deliveries.
• Act as the primary liaison for courier services such as UPS, USPS, and FedEx.
• Manage third-party vendors for postage, package tracking, and copy equipment maintenance.
• Ensure team performance meets established client-specific Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Handle time-sensitive and confidential materials with high attention to detail.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and business guidelines while maintaining logs and reporting documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in shipping operations.
• At least 1 year of managerial or supervisory experience.
• Proficient in Windows PC and keyboarding skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift heavy boxes, files, or paper as needed.
• Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods and travel between buildings in varying weather conditions.
