Mailroom Representative I

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operational support to the mail team by opening, sorting, and distributing incoming and outgoing mail
• Manage registered mail and operate postage equipment for outgoing shipments
• Scan documents and maintain accurate production and inventory records
• Monitor and maintain mailroom equipment to ensure adequate supplies are on hand
• Perform ad-hoc administrative duties and assist with opening and closing the department
• Ensure all assigned duties are completed daily to meet productivity and SLA requirements

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams)
• Typing speed of at least 50 wpm and 10-key proficiency
• Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain strict confidentiality
• Ability to work in-person on-site Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience working in an office, call center, or customer service environment
• Previous experience with office administration and clerical procedures
• Proven ability to work with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
