About the role

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily Mail Center operations, including the accurate processing, sorting, and distribution of all incoming mail and parcels.
  • Oversee the operation of postal equipment to ensure compliance with postal regulations and accurate accounting of expenditures.
  • Manage outbound shipments through various carriers including USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL.
  • Maintain postage monetary accounts and generate monthly reports for the Business Office regarding volume and expenditures.
  • Supervise and coordinate the hiring, scheduling, and workload of student workers.
  • Maintain professional relationships with carriers, service providers, and vendors.
  • Collaborate with IT to ensure the accuracy of the student, staff, and faculty database for correct mail routing.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or at least 3 years of experience supervising a Mail Center, Warehouse Fulfillment Operation, or similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of postal regulations and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Experience with Quadient WTS Tracking and Parcel Management Systems.
  • Valid Florida driver’s license and a clean driving record.
