Mail Services Specialist 3

Responsibilities

• Operate machines that automatically address, weigh, and tie printed publications into bundles
• Review manufacturing instructions to determine publication type and size
• Adjust guides, rollers, weighing machines, and tying arms using hand tools
• Record production data, customer names, zip codes, and machine downtime
• Process and ship outgoing small package parcels via UPS, FedEx, and DHL

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of equipment setup, adjustment, and operating procedures
• Ability to diagnose, solve, and correct operating problems affecting quality
• Skill in using rule and hand tools for machine adjustments
• Ability to instruct junior operators on corrective adjustments
