MagicDraw Admin Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide systems engineering, requirements management, and verification and validation (RV&V) coordination for the Space Nuclear Propulsion (SNP) Office.
• Manage, configure, and maintain the Dassault Systems MagicDraw client to support a collaborative modeling environment.
• Lead the administration of MagicDraw installation, including configuring, upgrading, and managing user accounts, groups, and permissions.
• Troubleshoot user connection issues and provide technical end-user support for MBSE tools.
• Support the development of SNP element requirements and ensure compliance during testing and evaluation.
• Implement Digital Engineering best practices and support the digital transformation of key systems engineering products.
• Coordinate with multiple engineering disciplines and customers to ensure stakeholder needs are satisfied from inception to deployment.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical, Aerospace, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline from an ABET accredited institution.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in systems engineering and integration, requirement management, and verification/validation.
• Proven experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools, specifically MagicDraw.
• Prior experience in systems administration supporting MBSE tools.
• Demonstrated ability to work across organizational boundaries and engineering disciplines.
• Must be a US Citizen and possess a STAR ID.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Model Based System Engineering (MBSE), such as OMG-Certified Systems Modeling Professional (OCSMP).
• Knowledge of launch vehicle programmatic planning and oversight of prime contractor hardware production.
• Familiarity with NASA Systems Engineering policies and procedures.
• Experience with aerospace vehicle system design and interface management.
