Magento B2C Systems Analyst

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to improve page load times and platform stability
• Implement and manage Varnish caching strategies to enhance scalability
• Ensure seamless integration with APIs, payment gateways, and third-party systems
• Leverage observability platforms like New Relic to detect anomalies and reduce incident MTTR
• Partner with DevOps to optimize hosting on AWS or Azure and manage CDN configurations
• Translate business requirements into technical performance and scalability solutions
• Participate in incident RCA and post-mortem analysis
• Define SLAs, KPIs, and performance benchmarks for B2C platforms
• Support UAT, load testing, and production readiness reviews

Requirements

• 5+ years of Magento (Magento 2 preferred) experience with a focus on performance optimization
• Experience optimizing Magento in cloud environments, preferably Azure
• Strong expertise in Varnish, Redis, and CDN configurations
• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and Magento architecture
• Experience with performance profiling and debugging tools (New Relic preferred)
• Experience with Azure App Services and Azure MySQL Flexible Server
• Familiarity with CDN platforms such as Akamai, Cloudflare, or Azure Front Door
• Knowledge of database optimization including indexing and query tuning

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Magento upgrades (2.4.x)
• Familiarity with headless commerce architectures and API-driven integrations
• Exposure to observability practices and dashboarding (New Relic, Datadog)
• Knowledge of DevOps processes and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience supporting high-traffic B2C platforms
