About the role

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the production of macroeconomic reports and notes for Namibia and Botswana
  • Support the Botswana and Namibia Public Finance Reviews (PFR)
  • Update macroeconomic databases and prepare presentations
  • Review inputs from team members and assist the Senior Country Economist in finalizing reports
  • Participate in team meetings and present recent work to government counterparts

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or in the final year of a postgraduate (master’s/PhD) program
  • Academic background in Economics or Development Economics
  • 0–6 years of relevant professional experience
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in English
