Machinist Technician

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain production equipment to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals
• Perform adjustments on machinery including dies, lathes, milling machines, and presses
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate production
• Conduct visual inspections of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products
• Detect and correct equipment failures systematically while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Perform mechanical adjustments, product changeovers, and minor repairs
• Document production data, equipment downtime, and waste in relevant systems
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and toolset
• Train and develop assigned personnel on production lines

Requirements

• Technical high school diploma in machines/tools, mechanic, or a related field
• Proven experience adjusting dies, lathes, milling machines, and presses
• Strong knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Proactive attitude with a strong sense of urgency and teamwork skills
