Machinist

Responsibilities

• Machine components according to route sheets and drawing instructions
• Set up first articles in machines and run production with minimal supervision
• Adjust tool offsets to comply with component drawings and monitor tool insert life
• Perform daily routine maintenance checks and ensure machine coolant levels are maintained
• Complete connector inspection job sheets and production route sheets
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping within the designated work area
• Ensure personal safety and comply with all Quality Management and HS&E policies
• Participate in on-the-job training and assist in training other operators

Requirements

• High School or Vocational School certificate
• Minimum 3 years of CNC machining experience with Fanuc control
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawing blueprints
• Proficiency in geometric tolerances
• Expertise with inspection measuring equipment, including O/D micrometers, bore micrometers, depth micrometers, Vernier calipers, ball gauges, and thread gauges
• Understanding of basic trigonometry (sine, cosine, tan)
• Ability to read and speak basic English
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with HONOR SEIKI machines
