Machinist (Jig Grinder)

Responsibilities

• Operate various conventional machine shop equipment, including grinders and vertical/horizontal saws, to produce small parts ranging from simple to complex
• Perform machine set-ups and adjust speeds, feeds, and depth of cut to meet specifications
• Ensure all machined parts conform to prescribed tolerances set forth in blueprints, drawings, and engineering orders
• Operate numerical control (CNC) machines as required
• Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail throughout the production process

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in a related field, military technical training, or equivalent education and training
• 2+ years of experience working with CNC machinery
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Experience with grinding processes

• Specific experience with Jig Grinding
