About the role
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to machine parts
- Set up and operate both conventional and CNC machines
- Build, repair, and rework molds and tools damaged in production
- Complete all required related paperwork
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Perform all tasks required of a Safety Sensitive position
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of machine shop experience
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong mathematical skills, including geometry and trigonometry
- Ability to perform metric and weight/measure conversions
- Basic verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CNC operation
- Welding ability
