Responsibilities
- Safely operate production machinery, with a primary focus on Brake Press operation
- Read and interpret detailed drawings, dimension styles, and technical specifications
- Set work priorities to meet scheduled production goals
- Interface with engineering to program machine runs and setups
- Load parts, cycle machines, and detect malfunctions such as worn or damaged tools
- Maintain accurate paperwork and reflect any production changes
- Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment
Requirements
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience operating manufacturing equipment, specifically Brake Press
- Ability to read a tape measure and use linear measuring devices
- Strong understanding of fractions, angles, and basic mathematics
- Proficiency with various pneumatic and power tools (drills, saws, routers, etc.)
- General knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs without assistance
- Close attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
