Machinist I

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to machine parts
• Set up and operate both conventional and CNC machines
• Rework molds and damaged tools as needed
• Complete all required production paperwork and documentation
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and keep machinery clean
• Work collaboratively within a team environment to achieve production goals
• Perform all tasks in accordance with safety-sensitive position requirements

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Basic mathematical skills
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to follow detailed and complex instructions
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Physical ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50lbs
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience or up to 1 year of experience operating CNC, manual mills, and lathe machines
• Advanced mathematical skills, specifically in geometry and trigonometry
