Machinist

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate conventional or CNC machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments
• Apply knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, metal properties, and machining procedures
• Verify product quality by inspecting precision parts to ensure they meet defined print specifications
• Utilize various machine tools including lathes, mills, CNC multi-axis machining centers, and precision grinders

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Advanced Manufacturing or Machining
• Experience with high-tolerance machining (up to .00005”)
