Machinist

Responsibilities

• Operate multi-axis CNC Mills and Lathes to manufacture complex parts and tools
• Evaluate tool wear, make offsets, and load/unload parts in machines
• Load raw materials, replace cutting tools, and follow setup procedures
• Check product specifications and handle nonconforming products
• Complete production documentation and close shop orders
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work area following 5S standards
• Perform daily autonomous maintenance on equipment
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Design Engineering to ensure manufacturability

Requirements

• High school diploma or two-year diploma
• Proven experience working with machined parts
• Knowledge of CNC Milling and Turning equipment operations
• Ability to read blueprints and setup sheets
• Experience using precision measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls, including feeds, speeds, G codes, and M codes
• Basic computer proficiency (Windows, MS Office)
