About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate multi-axis CNC Mills and Lathes to manufacture complex parts and tools
- Evaluate tool wear, make offsets, and load/unload parts in machines
- Load raw materials, replace cutting tools, and follow setup procedures
- Check product specifications and handle nonconforming products
- Complete production documentation and close shop orders
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work area following 5S standards
- Perform daily autonomous maintenance on equipment
- Collaborate with Manufacturing and Design Engineering to ensure manufacturability
Requirements
- High school diploma or two-year diploma
- Proven experience working with machined parts
- Knowledge of CNC Milling and Turning equipment operations
- Ability to read blueprints and setup sheets
- Experience using precision measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls, including feeds, speeds, G codes, and M codes
- Basic computer proficiency (Windows, MS Office)
