Machinist CNC

Responsibilities

• Set and machine components according to engineering drawings and routing instructions
• Create CNC programs based on customer specifications and drawings
• Perform 100% inspection on produced parts to ensure quality standards
• Interpret engineering drawings, symbols, and technical specifications
• Participate in problem-solving activities to improve process efficiency and reduce cycle times
• Handle raw and machined materials safely in accordance with HSE requirements
• Maintain high housekeeping standards and adhere to company health, safety, and environmental policies

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of CNC machining experience, including at least 5 years of experience in the Gulf region
• Proven expertise in setting, machining, and programming
• High school diploma or a relevant trade certificate
• Strong knowledge of measuring instruments and technical tools
• Proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and trigonometry
• Experience with material handling, including crane and forklift operation
• Familiarity with Fanuc operating systems and ISO programming functions

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of speeds, feeds, and tooling for various materials
• Understanding of material properties and insert selection
• Experience with lean manufacturing technologies
• Previous involvement in continuous improvement activities
