About the role

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC machinery, including HAAS and Cincinnati mills and lathes, to manufacture metal parts.
  • Load and unload parts into CNC machinery and operate to meet specific production rates and quality standards.
  • Use manual, digital, and automatic gauges to ensure parts meet precise specifications.
  • Perform physically demanding duties, including repetitive hand manipulation and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Read and understand Work Station Instructions, drawings, and bills of materials.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area while participating in continuous improvement and safety activities.
  • Utilize various tools including torque wrenches, air tools, presses, and hoists in a safe manner.

Requirements

  • Ability to stand for an entire shift on concrete surfaces.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (with assistance from a team member or use of a hoist).
  • Ability to read and understand technical Work Station Instructions and documentation.
  • Proficiency in using manual and digital gauges for quality inspection.
  • Must obtain a CNC Certificate within 6 months of hire if not already held.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically within the automotive or trucking industry.
  • Prior mechanical experience.
  • Current possession of a CNC Certificate.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
