Machining Technician

Responsibilities

• Manufacture high-tech single parts and small series with high added value
• Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of machines, including first-level preventive and curative maintenance
• Guarantee production quality, compliance, and traceability while respecting costs and deadlines
• Establish machining ranges and specific machining procedures in collaboration with the methods department
• Perform intermediate and final quality controls on machined parts and apply necessary corrections
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment
• Document all work, including work orders, material output, and traceability sheets
• Collaborate with methods technicians and milling programmers to drive continuous improvement

Requirements

• BTS or Bac Pro degree in machining
• Minimum of 10 years of significant professional experience in machining
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and part plans
• Proficiency operating 5-axis lathes, specifically DMG CTX Beta models
• Strong knowledge of working with various metals, including aluminum, bronze, inox, and inconel
• Expertise in tool selection and usage
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, palmers, and diatests
• Basic ability to operate traditional lathes or milling machines
• Rigorous, organized, and proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork
