About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end implementation of new production technologies, including evaluation, procurement, installation, and commissioning.
  • Design, develop, and implement machines, processes, and related technical documentation.
  • Lead special projects to optimize manufacturing processes regarding capacity, quality, cost, and productivity.
  • Perform advanced CNC and parametric programming using Siemens, Rexroth, or Fanuc systems.
  • Oversee machine maintenance, troubleshooting, setup, operation, and rebuilds.
  • Provide technical leadership in advanced technology development and complex design analysis.
  • Collaborate with global partners and suppliers to align on technology and process improvements.
  • Define critical spare parts and review machine designs and process parameters.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electronics, Industrial, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in machining or manufacturing engineering.
  • Advanced fluency in English.
  • Expertise in multi-axis machining (3, 4, and 5-axis systems).
  • Proficiency in CNC programming (G-code, M-code) and parametric programming.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC programming and industrial automation.
  • Proficiency with CAD and SolidWorks.
  • Experience with Siemens, Rexroth, or Fanuc control systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with machine retrofits and control upgrades.
  • Knowledge of electrical schematics, circuit design, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and automotive quality systems (Core Tools).
  • Experience with vision systems and industrial endoscopy.
  • Strong project management and financial acumen.
