Responsibilities
- Definition, development, and harmonization of binding machining standards and parameters (strategies, cutting data, tool, and clamping concepts)
- Leading and participating in projects
- Technical assurance of stable series production starts and active participation in the industrialization of new components
- Technical evaluation of investment projects in the machining area
- Acting as a technical interface between forging, materials technology, quality, and machining departments
Requirements
- Degree in manufacturing, production, mechanical, or materials engineering
- 5–10 years of professional experience in machining demanding materials, ideally titanium and nickel-based alloys
- Proven experience in standardizing and stabilizing machining processes
- Deep understanding of the relationship between forging processes, material condition, and machining behavior
- Experience in the industrialization of safety-critical components
- Knowledge of aerospace-specific requirements (e.g., EN9100, Nadcap)
- Strong analytical and systemic thinking skills
- Structured communication skills across departments
